SETUP USING NETSCAPE



Choose "Edit" and from the pulldown menu choose "Peferences"

Double click on "Mail & Newsgroups" option.



Fill in  your name  and email address and click on "Mail Server" option.

Fill in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server  as  mail.yourcompany.com

Fill in the Outgoing mail server user name as roslan%yourcompany.com (Please note that, use %
instead of @ symbol)

Click on the "Add" button as shown above.

Fill in the Server name as  mail.yourcompany.com

Leave the server type as  IMAP Server

Fill in the User Name as roslan%yourcompany.com (Please note that, use %
instead of @ symbol)

Tick on "Remember password"  and click on "OK" button.

 


Next is to choose the "Message" option.

On the  "Send message that use 8-bit characters" heading, select the second option

(Using the "quoted printable" MIME encoding......)

Click on "OK" button to finish the configuration.

You may now send and receive mail using Netscape mail client.
