SETUP USING OUTLOOK EXPRESS

In order to use outlook express to send and receive mail, first you must create an account using the webmail service.
We will use roslan@yourcompany as an example.

Choose "Tool" and then " Account" from the pull down menu.

 

 

Click on the "Add" button and choose "Mail" option.

Fill in the user's name and click the "Next" button.

 

Fill in the user's full email address and click the " Next" button.

Fill in the incoming pop3 and outgoing smtp server as mail.yourcompany.com, click the"Next" button

Fill in the Account Name as your full email address and the password. Click the "Next button.

Click on the "Finish" button to complete the setup process.

Click on the "Close" button.

Now, Go to "Tools" then "Accounts" again. On the highlighted email account you created. Please click "properties" on your right side. Go to "Servers" columns...

Tick "My server requires authentication". Then "apply" and "ok".

You are now ready to send and receive (Ctrl M) email using Outlook Express.
